The Holy Family is not an unrealistic ideal, but one that we should pursue, even in the messiness of life. Why?

Fr. Daniel Belken is a priest of the Diocese of Springfield-Cape Girardeau of the Roman Catholic Church. He was ordained to the Priesthood on June 12, 2020, and currently serves as the Parochial Administrator at St. Denis Parish in Benton, Missouri, and St. Lawrence Parish in New Hamburg, Missouri, as well as being the Director of Worship and Liturgy for the Diocese.

Beautiful homily. Yes, I did have a homily read to me at mass this morning. I do not feel that I had any comprehension of what was said or its meaning until just now listening to you speak, not read from your heart. Now,I have truly been to mass today. Thank you as always.
